The About-Face organization was founded by Kathy Bruin in San Francisco, California in 1995. This is a non-profit dedicated to equip girls with the tools they need to resist harmful media messages that affect them psychologically and harm their self body image. To educate young girls, women and mothers, they hold workshops, and utilize social media outlets and have speakers that will go around and hold seminars.
